Choose from an assortment of wheels for your doll, from retro 1950s cycles in various colors to modern speed bikes. Made in 1:6 scale (though 1:4 is normally correct for 16" dolls for furniture, these are good size for 16" dolls) by companies such as New-Ray, they all feature incredible detailing, most with moving parts. BMW and Indian motorcycles come affixed to stands which can be removed for posing. Currently available: 1 black Honda dirt bike. Cost: $30 each. Cool Vespas/scooters are so retro, and are perfect for small dolls and even 16" dolls (seated w/a little leg positioning). Currently available: 1 unboxed Vespa in cream cast-iron/metal with double seat, where both seats have come off and need re-gluing, $15. Also available is a retro-style black bicycle for $30 in 1:6 scale. Measures approx. 12"L x 6"H to seat and 7"H to handlebars. Detailing is incredible. 16" dolls look great posed next to it but doll legs might be too long to sit the doll comfortably on seat (see photos). Binoculars - these wonderful minis are perfectly scaled for Gene. They come in black on a chord. No working parts, but very authentic-looking. Cost: $3.99:
Baseball Accessories - These authentic pieces are a must for "Batter Up"! They work well for male or female dolls and even for 11" too. The bat, which is actually a pen from which the ink piece is easily removed, is 7.5"L; the words "All Star" are printed on it, in either blue or red, $3. The mitt is wonderful; it does not completely go over doll's hand, but it can be placed on her fingertips. Comes in natural or black, $4. Red Sox Baseball Helmet is an actual 1/2 scale mini reproduction version of the Major League Baseball helmet, painted with official team logos, worn on the field, authorized by the Boston Red Sox Club. For football lovers, this mini NFL helmet is perfect. Approximately 1/2 scale version of NFL helmet made with ABS plastic shells with plastic face mask and authentic-looking team decals, authorized by the NFL. Though will not go over the doll's head, it can be displayed by hand, from the fingers. Note: Please inquire about team helmet. We just LOVE these ping-pong paddle sets - and your dolls will too! You actually could play a game, too. Very realistic, down to the green or red rubber on the paddle sides and handles. Come with balls too. Cost: $6/set or $3.50 each.

Of course, your doll will reach for a boombox on a day off, relaxing by the pool or at the beach! These are real mini radios measuring 2.75"L with an antenna (note: colors now limited - pleas inquire). Scale is perfect for 18"+ dolls but can work well with 16" as well. Takes 2 AA batteries with electronic tuning, auto scan, 88-108 MHz. Have one available in a red Coke version with logo on front which takes 3 AAA batteries. Your BJDs and Cissy will love this old store stock Spy Camera! Made in Hong Kong in the 1960s, it comes in its original box, and stands 1.5"H. Cost: $15. Many thanks to fellow-club member Steph Gazell for her great photos of her Heath looking so handsome demonstrating the camera! Note: Now rare and hard-to-find; please inquire about occasional availability. A resin version is also available for less, $5. Also, a less inexpensive LED version, on a keychain, is available, where the camera actually flashes and makes shutter sounds, $5.
TOOLS
Ever resourceful, even fashion dolls find there are times tools are necessary. This mini set is made of steel and includes 5 pieces such as a wrench, hammer, pliers, monkey wrench. Most pieces measure 2"L. Cost: $4:
This 3-pc. screwdriver set measures 2.5"H tools are made of plastic and metal. Comes in a vinyl case, $3.50.
Though obviously not from the 1940's this mini flashlight (that actually works!) is still perfectly scaled for your doll at work, tinkering around the house. Has a handle along the top for slipping it over fingers. Comes also in the long old-fashioned kind. In choice of colors - will try to accommodate. This tape measure, 1.5" x 1.5", opens to 3-feet long and comes in assorted bright neon colors, $2.99:
Whenever painting needs to be done, use these great little props. Actually full of nail polish (for little girls!), the detailing is quite true...each little silver can even comes with a paintbrush and an attached handle! Measure about 2"H. Cost: $3 each. Choose "one-gallon" or "quart" size. Quart-size comes as a two-tiered attached set and has the brush attached inside to top can.
This metal toolbox with removable tools was made as a limited edition by Craftsman in 1998. Made of metal, in shiny gray (red not available) to look like a handyman's old-fashioned toolbox. Includes hammer, wrench, drill, screwdriver, monkey wrench, and tape measure. Toolbox actually has working lock and hinges too! Measures 3"w x 2.5"h x 2.5"d. Cost: $25. Also available is a smaller, resin version with tools attached inside, for $7. Drill inside yellow case (actually a lighter, unfilled), $5. Mini metal hammer or electric saw, $7.
Mini Desktop Toolbox. This mini measures 9 inches wide, 4 inches diameter and 5 inches height Interior is approximately 3 inches deep. Each toolbox is constructed of heavy duty 0.24 gauge steel and is bent and spot-welded to create an authentic replica of the toolboxes professionals use. The top flips open revealing a deep storage bin with felt liner on the interior floor. The top of the lid has a grooved rubber mat. Cost: $40.
Mini Workbench with Storage - Measures 7 inches wide x 7.5 inches tall x 4.5 inches deep The bench top flips open to reveal a hidden storage area. Made of 0.24 gauge steel. Has a grooved rubberized mat and a felt liner inside. Finished in a silver powder coat. Cost: $40.
Another useful piece is this metal storage chest. Also made by Craftsman, it matches the red metal toolbox, above. Has two front opening doors, and a lid, all hinged. Here is a remarkable miniature record that brings back the old thrill of a new LP. Each shining platter has a paper label, a spindle hole at the middle and a silver cord (for hanging on your tree as ornaments, or remove the cord for using with displays). Though too large for the record player above, this 3.5"W mini is great to display with Cissy or BJDs. Will even look good with 16" dolls in room shots (though too large for them to hold).
